Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) Announces  Next Testing and Registration Deadline Dates and New Certification Level

January 18, 2018 – The Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) today announced that the next available testing dates for pet care professionals to become a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP), Manager (CPACM), or Operator (CPACO) will be March 24 – April 7, 2018. The deadline to register for the exams is February 28, 2018. Registration information including which exam is right for you, registration requirements, and testing center locations is available at www.paccert.org/exam-info.  This exam cycle marks the first time pet care professionals can test to become a Certified Professional Animal Care Operator, the person responsible for the overall operation of a professional pet care business and the highest level of certification offered by PACCC.

“We know that many pet care business owners and managers were waiting for the CPACO level to be offered, said PACCC board chair, Anna Torres-Radle. “The wait is now over and we are excited to be able to bring this level of certification that will let pet parents know that a pet care business is serious about pet safety starting at the top.”

The March and April PACCC exams mark the fifth round of testing by the council founded to bring independent certification to the pet care services industry, a milestone step for a rapidly growing, easy to enter industry frequently damaged by news reports of serious pet accidents and deaths.
