Recertification

To ensure PACCC certificants are up-to-date on the latest developments in the professional animal care services industry; management and understanding of quality of care; and/or the professional operations of pet care services, PACCC requires regular recertification. The following recertification requirements have been established to ensure current and relevant knowledge and skills.

Recertification Requirements:

  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every 3 years
    • CPACP – 20 hours
    • CPACM – 30 hours
    • CPACO – 36 hours
  • Submission of completed Application for Recertification (available online via link provided below) which also includes submitting:
      • Recertification fee
        • CPACP – $200
        • CPACM – $250
        • CPACO – $300
  • Submission of PACCC CEU Tracking and Submission Form

Process: 

  1. Review the Recertification Handbook before applying for recertification (PDF available for download here.)
  2. Complete the Application for Recertification by clicking here.
    • Follow the Recertification How-To Guide for step-by-step instructions on completing the process HERE.
  3. Submit your completed CEU Tracking and Submission Form along with your application
    • Note: if you have your CEUs tracked in the PACCC Portal, download and attach that list in addition to the Submission form.
  4. Include the appropriate payment information with your application
