• “Certification Pet Parents Can Trust”

PACCC CONTINUING EDUCATION

Congratulations on becoming a certified pet professional! As you know, your certification is good for three years and, to maintain your certified status, you will need to attain a certain number of Continuing Education Units (CEU) based on your certification level, such as Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) or Certified Professional Animal Care Manager (CPACM).

To maintain PACCC certification through continuing education, CEU credits must be documented as follows:

  • CPACP: 20 CEUs in 3 years
  • CPACM: 30 CEUs in 3 years
  • CPACO: Pending

CEUs will be granted only for those educational opportunities approved by PACCC. Currently approved programs are listed, below. We are in the process of approving additional programs and this page will be updated regularly. All programs are reviewed for educational value and program content must conform to the PACCC Code of Ethics and Humane Position Statement found at paccert.org/docs. Certified professionals will receive from PACCC a CEU Tracking Form.

Any program not listed, below, under Approved PACCC CEU Programs, will require submission for review and approval of the program by the CEU Committee. Instructions on how to submit a program not listed below for approval review will be available shortly on this page.

PACCC CEU FORMS

If you have attended any programs you believe should qualify for CEU credits, a separate application form is required. See, below.
