Daphne Filiberti CPACP - Certified Pet Care Professionals

PACCC CERTIFIED DIRECTORY

There are three levels of PACCC certification: Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP), Manager (CPACM), and Operator (CPACO). The exams are appropriate for the position level one holds in the industry. To initially qualify for the exams, the following individuals had to meet significant minimum education and work experience requirements, as well as provide letters of reference from veterinarians and other pet care industry professionals. They then had to successfully pass an in-depth exam, conducted in-person at an approved PACCC testing location.  The first level of certification is CPACP, followed by CPACM which requires an increased level of education and experience, and then CPACO which requires even more. An advanced certification level does not require initial certification at another level. For example, becoming a CPACM does not require initial certification as a CPACP. The exams are appropriate for the position level the professional holds in the industry.

By becoming independently certified, these professionals are pet care pioneers and leaders in pet safety. To remain certified, a minimum amount of continuing education credits must be met.

If you are a Certified Professional but your contact information in our directory is incorrect, please let us know by clicking the button below.

Congratulations to these pet care professionals who have achieved PACCC certified status.

Biography

Working with animals is my dream job! I have worked with all kinds of dogs and cats, from energetic and playful to senior, rescues and pets with special needs. Every dog and cat has a unique personality, and I enjoy meeting and working with new dogs and cats all the time. I am a loving and reliable companion to all kinds of pets when the parents aren’t available. Before I started my pet sitting and dog walking business in 2019, I volunteered for over a two years walking dogs at the San Diego Humane Society for several hours each week. This gave me hands on experience with hundreds of wonderful dogs that I wouldn’t have been able to work with otherwise. I also volunteered walking dogs and socializing puppies, cats, and kittens for over a year at Helen Woodward. I was a Red level dog handler-requiring the highest level of skills on their yellow, orange and red scale. I treat all animals with love and respect as if they were my own. I am a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) with PACCC and I am also certified with Pet Sitters International. I have a Certificate of Completion of Cat and Dog First Aid including CPR from the San Diego Humane Society. I also have a Certificate of Completion from the Fear Free Shelters Program. Their mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) in pets (both dogs and cats) by inspiring and educating the people who care for them. I have gone through dog training with my own dogs and am actively training my dog, Roxy, for the American Kennel Club Good Canine Citizenship certification. Making sure that pets are safe, happy and healthy is my priority.
