The Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) today announced that the available testing dates for pet care professionals to become a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) or a Certified Professional Animal Care Manager (CPACM) will be October 14-28, 2017. The deadline to register for the exams is September 15, 2017. Registration information including which exam is right for you, registration requirements, and testing center locations is available at www.paccert.org/exam-info. As there are a finite number of seats each day the exams are conducted, pet care professionals who prefer a particular testing date during the two-week testing period are encouraged to register early as certain preferred dates fill up quickly.
“We are on track to have 100 pet care professionals certified by the end of this year and we could not be more proud,” said PACCC Co-Founder, Susan Briggs. “PACCC certification requires real-world experience and pet care education so when pet parents see those credentials they really mean something.”
The October PACCC exams marks the third round of testing by the council founded to bring independent certification to the pet care services industry, a milestone step for a rapidly growing, easy to enter industry frequently damaged by news reports of serious pet accidents and deaths.
