So, what do Lady Gaga, Westminster Dog Show, and 53 pet pros have in common? They’re all helping make pets safer!
First up, we want to congratulate our newly Certified Professional Animal Care Providers who sat for the CPACP exam in February! Our new class of certified pet pros brings the grand total of CPACPs to 53. We have two more opportunities to take the exam this year so we should be well past the century mark by the end of the year. Our next CPACP exam happens in June, but the deadline to register for the exam is May 1, 2017. Please help us spread the word! Exam details are online at paccert.org/provider-exam.
Making independent certification a reality is only possible thanks to volunteers and your donations which is where GaGa and Westminster come in. They’re part of a furbulous line-up of items in our online charity auction to raise funds for PACCC. If you haven’t checked out the auction yet, or if you’re in watching mode, waiting to snipe, the auction’s end is coming quickly. Your winning bid is also big win for PACCC. Don’t wait! To see the auction line-up and start bidding, visit charityauctionstoday.com/auctions/pacccc-1525.
When the Professional Animal Care Certification Council was just the hopeful vision of a few of us sitting around a kitchen table in a small town in Texas, we could not have imagined the level of support and success for our pet safety mission that we have already received. But, to continue the mission, we need your help. Like every non-profit we would rather just be doing the work rather than asking for money to keep the lights on, but if that’s what it takes to ensure a safer world for pets, we’ll keep asking! As a reminder, in addition to the current auction, you can always donate online paccert.org/donate.
Thank you again for your support and, come on, you know you want that America’s Cup Yacht Sailing Experience in San Diego. Or is it the trip to New Orleans for an out of this world jazz and dining experience. Laissez les bons temps rouler and start bidding now!
