Biography

It’s Spring 2023 and we’re wrapping up an expansion of our 1st location while opening a 3rd location. We’re also losing staff, turning away dogs, and struggling to hire. Oh, and our General Manager and Director of Operations turn in their notice at the same time. This is the story of how we became fully staffed, “stopped” hiring, and accelerated our growth within 5 months. Attendees will leave with specific ideas for hiring and retaining staff through compensation, culture, and communication.
